I live in the desert , I’m afraid everything would burn up. What state are you in ?

  2. Patty Scancella on September 8, 2021 at 10:11 pm

Just put my second round of cukes, zukes, squash, beans and herbs in my garden beds. Hoping the vine borers are finished devastating my first round of crops.

  3. Benjamin Radoslovich on September 8, 2021 at 10:12 pm

I might just pop some in!

  4. Tourmaline on September 8, 2021 at 10:12 pm

    Does the ladder mesh rust?

  5. Melissa Kingery on September 8, 2021 at 10:16 pm

I’m going back like you said and watch these over again on what to plant for late summer.

  6. Angel Bear on September 8, 2021 at 10:17 pm

You went from #3 squash to #5 basil. What was #4 supposed to be? Otherwise, it’s only 5 crops.

  7. Daizey57 on September 8, 2021 at 10:18 pm

What am I missing? I keep watching and only count 5 veggies and a flower. Caucus, beans, squash, basil, chard and zinnias……

  8. KayVgKat TV on September 8, 2021 at 10:20 pm

Thanks for sharing! I have been looking for trellis and found then expensive. Your ladder mesh is really a good price $7+ for 2!!! Wow!

    Very Good!.

  12. Terry Hall on September 8, 2021 at 10:26 pm

Question. I love the idea of the ladder trellis. Do you think it would shade too many of the plants underneath?

  13. Glenda Ruff on September 8, 2021 at 10:28 pm

What are the red flowers in your garden beds? Beautiful.

  14. Kendall Smies on September 8, 2021 at 10:29 pm

What insecticide/ hints do you have that are safe to keep bugs and beetles away? I have done too much research and have spent enough money on stuff that doesn’t work. I can’t seem to get my strawberries to maturity without being ravaged and all of the rest of my fruits and veggies are headed that way

  15. Thuy Nguyen on September 8, 2021 at 10:32 pm

Too bad , I live in MN zone 3 nothing can grow on this cold weather but thank you for sharing

  16. Murphy and other stuff on September 8, 2021 at 10:33 pm

    Why plant a seed?….Because I said sow.

  17. nery colon's garden on September 8, 2021 at 10:34 pm

Hi Calikim 29. I love to see your videos. I learn a lot. I just put 9 eggplant seeds. I put a while back potatoes. Never have luck with them but it looks like they will be potatoes. Everybody that comes to my house, says that I have a jungle. The good thing is that I live in San Juan Puerto Rico is very hot. The winter is cool or chilly but it doesn’t get frizzing.

  18. Patricia Jaramillo on September 8, 2021 at 10:35 pm

Wonderful video. Trellis idea is fantastic. Very helpful. Thanks.

  19. Meemee Zong on September 8, 2021 at 10:35 pm

That trellis is too week to hold cucumbers.

  23. Cold Dead Hands on September 8, 2021 at 10:39 pm

Nice, now even my cold hands could grow that ?

I’ve always wanted to grow in the winter. Thankyou for such a beautiful video that is so informative. I’m glad you included the chard at the end, and i’ll add kale too. Your soil looks beautiful.

  31. Golden Goddess on September 8, 2021 at 10:48 pm

I just learned something, plant some flowers to bring in pollinators. Ingenious! I’m on that in 2022. Thank you!!!!

  32. Stephanie Vandendriessche on September 8, 2021 at 10:50 pm

  33. 44MzMaMa The FAT Girl Chronicles on September 8, 2021 at 10:51 pm

  37. laks1 t1 on September 8, 2021 at 10:56 pm

i just ordered late summer seeds. Just wondering if its late to get the seeds I am in California. Please guide.

  38. Johnnie Blackburn on September 8, 2021 at 10:57 pm

I see you have Petunias in your garden bed. I would never plant my veggies near Petunias. Every time I’ve planted Petunias, I’ve had to constantly battle grubs.
    Do you have that problem?
Edit: I saw your petunias again and it looks like they’re definitely munching on your flower petals.

  39. Linda Owens on September 8, 2021 at 11:01 pm

Help; am loosing all my crops. So hot . I have not been able to get anything from my crops.. I don’t have them in direct sun, on my porch in pots and have them on a irragation system. heat has reached 99 to 106. lots of 106. What can I do? Have spent so much money on seeds, plants. Please advise.

  40. CheryleAnn on September 8, 2021 at 11:02 pm

I have a beautiful straight eight cucumber plant with lots of flowers and is super long. The only problem is there are no cucumbers!! I have fertilized them but it hasn’t help. Do you know what might be the problem?

  41. Maria Sim on September 8, 2021 at 11:03 pm

What kind of soil you need for potting plants ma’am.

  42. Anna Hopewell on September 8, 2021 at 11:05 pm

    What zone are you?

  43. Murphy and other stuff on September 8, 2021 at 11:06 pm

We seed what you did there.

  44. Travelgenieken Smith on September 8, 2021 at 11:06 pm

Did you cut the ladder mesh from a big piece? I have been to 3 home depot stores and 1 lowes store and can not find the ladder mesh pictured in the video.
