Can you do a video on Asian pears and apricot tree My biggest problem with fruit trees are wild life. This year I also had a problem with my Asian pears. Some were corky inside and misshaped. Any idea what caused this? Your apples are beautiful.
    something to be proud of!.

Hi James, I really like your videos. You mentioned that you prune pairs and plums different from apples. Can you send me to the right video to watch? I live in Co. and have gotten a lot of hail damage on my trees. This year we have a lot of fruit. The trees have a lot of scaring , is there anything i can put on them to heal the scars?

Thank you so much for the how to on apple tree pruning. I have one issue I am not sure how to prune an apple tree that was supposed to be miniature tree. However, it has grown too tall. Can I safely prune the center branch to a lower height? And also prune the outer branches? Thank You again

Gidday James .. Your fruit is always beautiful .. don’t you have any trouble with birds attacking them.. here we have large white cockatoo’s .. they fly in a large flock and attack fruit trees .. my almond tree was almost destroyed..they love almonds.. if I plant them again I will need to enclose them in a wire cage .. I will build it with wooden frame and wire mesh … then plant 3 almond trees inside..

James! I loooove your energy and your chsnnel! You’ve helped me feel more confident! I purchased a property with 3 large apple trees and 3 plums. 2 apples are too large to pick and apples drop on cement or rock. One is very small and low. I’ve opened it up and it’s great. My question is can I cut a very large tree back to a small tree to save the large ones? I’ve read not to over prune but innorder to use these two large trees I need to really bringb them down to 1/3 the size. I don’t mind a few years without fruit. I’d just like to salvage the trees. Next Q is I’ve been told apples under the tree cause worms next year but I want to encourage bugs in my garden soil. I want softer soil. And I want to emulate a forest floor. Do I need to remove old apples or allow natural compost to happen? Any replies from people in the know would be great. Thank you!
