Do you save the dead headed flowers to dry them for seeds?

Thank you for this video! If the stems are woody (mine is very old) should I cut it down more after the flowers are spent? It’s quite tall right now, almost 3 feet. Thanks!

When I deadhead I run my fingers through the center of the bloom. I don’t even know if those would be considered seeds yet. I have never been able to get an answer on that. I’m a lazy throw stuff in the ground type of gardener. But my yard is full of plants and looks great. When neighbors ask me what type of plants I have I just shrug. I don’t know if I will ever actually learn about the plants that I have; but I should try

I have hydrangeas right behind the Shasta Daisies but I can’t see them. Would it hurt the Daisies for next year if I now cut them back about 2 feet?
