What’s the easiest way to get power. Because Ima blow through gas for the thing I wanna build.
I’d like to see a video on weather, temperature, and clothing.
1st tutorial with speech thats actualy worth watching
I mean, you get all that functionality with literally only ONE single point. Totally worth it. Those chickens and rabbits are a major pain without it, and hunger sucks.
I tried it and it’s cool…My larder, well, Wall locker, is full now!
Saven thanks for this vid. If you remember from the other night in your live stream, in my group I am the Looter/Salvage Stealth Ninja. I gather and loot.(I don’t do treasure quests though, I guess I don’t like to be on a controlled mission out of my choice). My group suggested that I take an interest in hunting and after researching the attributes and perks I realize that this is going to be fun and helpful for the group. Hunting/Gathering will also compliment my skill set as well, and when I say gathering I am also going to get the Living Off The Land perk too. I figure why not go all out? Oh and this is on one of the 3 friends Server of he made too. So I am now split between to games, which makes things interesting. Thank you for this vid, it was helpful and you have a thorough method of explaining subject in 7 Days to die that are easy to learn and effective. Saven, are you a teacher? If not you might want to go into it b/c you have the aptitude to be a great teacher.
Awesome video thanks for the tip!
Just found your channel today, but I have to give a big thanks for the thorough tutorials with clear demonstrations.
I can’t even hear some of the other channels because of the crappy music overlay, or I just lose interest from the constant cutting to Family Guy clips or whatever.
I don’t make videos but your pacing seems off. I watch these in 2x speed. I’ve got 595 hours in game over 4 years, maybe I’m skimming your videos… but yeah…
I went to their last video and asked them for that control over animals
does the weapon type/quality make a difference in harvesting? do you get the same amount from bone, as knife, as machete? does the quality level make a difference in amount harvested? these also need to be answered, sine i can’t seem to find a video on it and the wiki seems defunct.
You are the best in 7dtd!
Great video!
Video: "Let’s try it! We crouch and… there’s a rabbit!"
Me in game: <crouch> "No tracks found" <move, repeat a half dozen times> <give up>
Should have mentioned the Ghillie suit as an honorable mention.
Just wanted to say a big thanks for all your hard work in putting up these videos! Having done plenty of my own testing of the game, I can verify how much work you did and it’s quite a lot for sure. This series and many more of your videos are reference quality and should be linked in every 7dtd wiki imho. 🙂
I typically use a suppressed 9mm pistol or the sniper rifle (looks like a Dragunov) and find no issues with those! Hunting with a suppressor is always nice to avoid drawing zombies to you mid-hunt.
How do you increase the number of animals that spawn on the map
Weird that you can track Grace since it’s considered a zombie animal but you can’t track the other animal zombies…
Youd be surprised of how many days i lived while having starvation.
Why don’t the animals show on my compass
So coming from xbox to pc finally, do the deer still have a bleed out period while hunting like they do on console? Some of the deer would bleed out running away after taking an arrow shot. Just wondering if thats still a thing or not.
Very informative videos! Could you make a video or just give suggestions on how to level up quickly to get more skill points plz! Thank you for your hard work.
This is one of the best perks to grab early on! Chickens and rabbits are dam near impossible to see in all the grass that we usually start in, but with this perk the icons pop up over their heads and you don’t have to see their actual bodies to hit them!
That being said I wish you had tested the sense range (I’m stopped at 8:26 writing this so if you did test that later disregard this), I know it says 100 meters in the description but at level 1 it is no where near that range I’m quite sure, more like 40-50 meters max.
You have convinced me to put one of my starting points into Animal Tracker and Master Chef. Food shouldn’t be a major problem early game.
This could be worth spending a few points on for me early in a game. I generally start chopping wood nearby as the guys start building our base. Then immediately spend points on Living off the Land and Master Chef. As soon as I get a mini bike I head off to get water, or Snow, Flowers for teas, Nests for Eggs and Feathers for Arrows, cautiously look for garden plots around Town, but I do not seem to see many chooks or rabbits.
That first point would be a great help to find the small meat for myself and my two sons. They are more likely to get jumped by a real bear or dogs as they are taking more risks so generally they bring back quite a bit of meat over time. I’m a bit of a failure I’m afraid with the bow.
I could even use the trick of getting up on two Wood Crates if I can see a Dog a bit in advance – I don’t usually have a very good weapon to start with, mainly the arrows or thankfully a pistol.
Normally I jump on my mini-bike and get some distance if there is danger because I have no defenses. Fun but scary job out on my own early stage.
I would have to get off the Mini-bike to walk around a lot crouching here and there to get any use out of this though. On reflection it is mainly useful if only walking around hunting.
Lol, something could also be hunting me when I am too far away from the mini-bike to save myself. Perhaps when I have a weapon that is more powerful this would be helpful.
Thankyou for the information. Regards to all.
Never have used the hunting perks much, but may have to start now! Great video
I got attacked by a god damn mountain lion while I was in a poi. I made him into a coat.
Here is a question, does the huntsman perk govern how much you gather from carcasses on the road or from the biohazard body bags?
Good to know. The hunting system is shot. No pun intended. I chse chickens, rabbits, etc. but, while looking at them, can only sometimes track them. LOLOLOL DAMMIT!! I took some stupid job so I could learn how to hunt. UGH!! Wasted a bunch of points on it, too.
i would have been interested to know how much damage each animal can take as well. still good video
Dang thats very awesome! Like you I never had thought to try this perk yet very useful
Do you get more resources using Machete than Hunting Knife, and more with Hunting Knife than Bone Knife??
thanks!! i needed this guide really bad!! as im looking forward to master chef
Are these Perks on playstation
Very helpful. Thanks
