Awful display of martial arts. In know way could you defend yourself with this mess. If they was on a slippery surface they would be doomed.
Ok so you can punch to the face ??? And is the certain punches thy can throw ??? Cuz uh I see alot of straight punches the would land if they just throw it all day pretty much
This looks like a cartoon or a puppet show with little puppets trying to kick each other. Horrible!
I’m proud of her but this doesnt even look like a fight, all the pads and no punches, it’s…weird what is considered an olympic sport and what isn’t. We should have an official olympic UFC and kickboxing.
It’s good to see an American Olympian actually hold up the American flag. NBC is probably trying to score points with proud Americans, but we still know their “news” is biased garbage. Anyway, congratulations to that young lady!
Censor "fighting." I hate Olympic TKD.
And she loves her country!!
The fine plate interestingly sneeze because dollar timely trouble mid a gorgeous bangle. needless, lyrical teaching
Real taekwondo matches are awesome to watch. Tournament rules taekwondo is a travesty. They shouldn’t be allowed to even use the same word.
Man the coaches are amazing when they celebrate with their team
Kinda boring to be honest…
Honestly not that cool
Audio: Ahhhh reeee agagagag aggghhhhh ahhhhhh
Two black belts going at it, perfection in motion. GOLD! Silver! Bronze! Medalists Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is what you get when you put a martial arts in the Olympics. It is truly becomes sport, it isn’t a martial arts anymore and that tickles down to every taekwondo studio in the world b/c Olympics sets the standards of competition.
Why on earth would 1200 people not like this?
Awesome! But more importantly did she face the US flag when they played the anthem?
smh didnt keep her hands up.
The crowd is really cheering for this one.
It’s the Olympics and they’re pronouncing the name of the sport wrong. It’s not TIE kwon do. Not Ty Kwon Do. It’s said “Tae” like Ted or Bed.
Congratulations
Was that legal? I unno, Wu Yu Ting?
And blocking is that not allowed either ??
This commentator is WRONG, WRONG , WRONG! The First American woman to win Olympic gold in Tae Kwon Do was Dana Hee in 1988. I know, I trained with her at Golden State Tae Kwon Do in California.
grats lady gaga now back ot making music
This made me tear up not gonna loe
Wow, I didn’t think point sparring could ever be worse than karate point sparring. I was wrong.
They are both Russians..
Awesome accomplishment!
Also, I think “Taekwondo” is Korean for “two sisters fighting over a hairbrush”.
Nobody cares not even Americans
Good for her!!!
happy for the young lady
‘UFC maybe down the road
727 in the house!
SHE ENTERS THE ARENA LIKE A BOSS
The men don’t look any better. My grandchildren would knock them all out.
Why not just call it side kicking. I will never watch this junk again. Who cares?!
