Always Put These in Your Cart!

Come thrifting with me at Goodwill as I look for items to resell on eBay, Amazon FBA, Mercari, Etsy, and Poshmark! Being a full-time reseller is hard work, but days like this make it seem easy! I found some great items that are easy flips. Always buy these things to sell online when you find them at thrift stores or garage sales at a good price!

//WHO AM I?

I’m Wick and I am a reseller for a living. I find things at garage sales, thrift stores, and even clearance at retail stores to sell. I do online arbitrage, retail arbitrage, and buy locally. While the majority of my business is done through Amazon FBA, I also sell on eBay or anywhere else I can flip the junk that I find.

I also trade stocks and futures, do affiliate marketing, and Merch by Amazon to make money online. My goal is to live a free life away from the typical 9-5 job.

Subscribe and join me on my adventures to see what I can find to make some dollars.

//FAQ

Q: What Apps do you use to sell online (eBay and Amazon)?

A: I search the eBay sold and completed listings to get an idea of what products are selling for. I use the Amazon Seller App to scan for FBA.

Q: Can you make a living selling online?

A: Yes, the difficulty is based on how much effort you put in and how much you need to make each month. I do this full time.

Q: Where do you find your clearance products to resell?

A: Literally everywhere. Check end caps and look for clearance aisles, but mostly it will be mixed in. Ask a manager if there’s any good clearance deals and build a relationship if possible.

Q: Do you make a full-time living selling online?

A: I do. All my bills are covered, I’m able to save a good amount, and put money back into the business. I also do other things to make money, but reselling is the meat. It takes a lot of work and dedication to make a full-time living reselling.

Your Goodwill has good prices. In our area, they are totally overpriced (like 4x what your store has priced items at).

  2. Sunflower Mahea on September 15, 2021 at 10:43 pm

Are you pricing these at the sold price or whats listed at the time

  3. evancarnagey on September 15, 2021 at 10:43 pm

1:02 I used to have these guys, seeing them sell for 13.95 kills me.

Shipping always puts me off. It seems everything is shipped from china for free and eats up any profits… maybe a video on how to ship quick and cheap…. Yea, ebay is really screwy these days, can’t use paypal for instant payments…have to wait for your $$$ I hate that…

I’m afraid to sell on ebay is it easy to sell on there???

  7. Daniel Daniels on September 15, 2021 at 10:45 pm

I generally stay away from VHF wireless mics (UHF are the good ones) but at that price I’d have grabbed it too.

Goodwill is greedy in California. They think they can get reseller prices so they end up junking a lot of stuff. Guess they don’t realize resellers need to spend time shopping, listing, shipping etc.

  9. Marjie S. on September 15, 2021 at 10:48 pm

Good video, thanks. How do you remove the price stickers without damaging the wrapping?

Are Wii systems worth anything? I have one hardly ever used and when I moved It was boxed up and I just remembered I had it when you were looking at the games. I’d appreciate if anyone knows and how much I could get for if.

    Who’s buying this junk?

  15. baddoggie101 on September 15, 2021 at 10:59 pm

That is the best-organized Goodwill I have seen. The one near me is a trash pit of overpriced junk.

  16. Jacob Ladder on September 15, 2021 at 11:01 pm

I can’t even imagine buying used sneakers. The whole concept is fucking retarded. Maybe maybe I could see women buying some really expensive heels because they’re not worn that often but other than that people’s feet stink and typically shoes are poorly made

  17. Ryan E on September 15, 2021 at 11:01 pm

Your ā€œcha Chingā€ sound made me excited I made a sale! Not cool, lol.

  18. Troy Berecz on September 15, 2021 at 11:02 pm

How do you handle the tax situations? That seems complicated.

  19. OxBigly2010 on September 15, 2021 at 11:04 pm

Are you judging the item’s value by what its being sold for or are you looking at resent completed sales?

  20. Karen Abrams on September 15, 2021 at 11:04 pm

I’d help you list in exchange for learning how to do this. You should put out a job listing for a HS student that wants to learn how to flip junk online in exchange for help with your hoard. I learning this skill is a good idea. Look at how hoardy 45+ people are. They probably would like to unload by this method rather than A&E coming with those ridiculous therapists and dump trucks with the stupid music.

So buying things that are donnated for people in need and re-selling them at retail price is a job?

Go to a goodwill outlet. Good time..

  23. Velvet Bear on September 15, 2021 at 11:06 pm

  27. Jon Hiller on September 15, 2021 at 11:10 pm

I think that wireless you picked up is a VHF, so it’s safe, but there are quite a few UHF bandwidth wireless that are now illegal to sell or use in the US, due to new wireless laws the FCC has passed over the last several years.

There is no way that this man is going to get $60 for a Coco Ravensburger puzzle. (As with most 1000 pc Ravensburger puzzles you can find it on ebay for $25). Now some people may say that he’ll still make money, but given that it will cost over $10 to ship, plus ebay/amazon fees, he’ll only make a couple bucks if he can even sell it. I am not trying to hate on the dude, I just want people to be realistic when looking at reselling.

  29. routt ookc on September 15, 2021 at 11:11 pm

where do you send most of this stuff? Middle of nowhere Nebraska?

One of the best flips I ever did was a 35,000 piece Ravensburger puzzle for 10 bucks sealed in box. Sold for 275 in one day on eBay.

  40. Floyd Mills on September 15, 2021 at 11:33 pm

Never had any luck getting any good electronics at my Goodwill.

  41. scorchin73 chavez on September 15, 2021 at 11:33 pm

sadly in denver , every item of value has been thoroughly researched , and a simple puzzle such as the day of the dead will be priced at around 25$ lol , sometimes when i go browsing im looking at prices like wow , that almost retail lol , thrift stores come and go fast in this area , then they pop up across town with the same stuff for a about 5-6 months and then they move on because they realize they cannot make a market with the prices..sometimes you can find a good deal , but its rare , its why i stopped my basic buy/ sell side job i had šŸ™

  42. NOSGAS Laugher on September 15, 2021 at 11:34 pm

Don’t bother with goodwill, if it’s worth anything more than 10.00 it goes on their auction site, then people pay stupid prices for them

  43. Randy Delp on September 15, 2021 at 11:34 pm

Because of people like you, I haven’t shopped online in years.
