Bowhunting these BIG black bears is a must in our conservation efforts to keep the herd healthy. Yes some don’t like it and some even fight against it. BUT! Without our hunter dollars going towards these animals every year they would have been eradicated years ago. Everything from the meat to the hide is used and does not go to waste. Even though the average person sees these bears as scary and dangerous, I love them.
