Brooklyn Backyard Jungle – Urban Gardener video
Bill from Clinton Hill, Brooklyn and his neighbors have joined their backyards and created a monstrous 3,600 sq ft urban jungle complete with a koi pond. Host Denton Tarver brings us into Bill’s NYC garden.
Urban Gardener is a video series dedicated to exploring some of the most interesting city green spaces and meeting some of the most creative urban gardeners around the US, whether they’re just off a street or ontop of a skyscraper – we’ll find ’em. This series is produced by SPACES – a YouTube original Home + Design channel.

So sorry you interviewed Bill, he seems to be healthy and certainly have profitted from his very privileged position. I wonder why he felt the need to juxtapose his garden against the ‘other side of the house?’ Nice garden, most would do the same with equitable resources, access, and opportunity.
Or maybe the purpose of espaliers is to weigh down the branches making the tree produce more fruit …
Christianity is not about control you liberal punk. Shame on you. You showed your ignorance.
RIGHT!! makes me want to go plant..
beautiful
Thanks team Digs!
BILL from CLINTON hill…
This is incredible – love the koi pond!
I bet at the end he was just waving to nobody. Lol. Highly unlikely that there was a cab just strolling by in that neighborhood.
Agreed!!!
Beautiful!
the analogy of the tree and christianity and control …so akward and not cool.
