I just bought the wood and the cement blocks. I got the 10 inch by 10 ft long wood, maybe 1 inch thick. Those items cost me $93.00!!! I live in Orlando, Fl. area. I have the black cloth on the bottom, so maybe add another $10.00 on top of that so we’re at $103.00 before I add the soil & or straw for the bottom. It’ll be a lil pricey, but it’s a learning curve & fairly easy to do. 🙂
I would add the pics, but don’t see the pic button.

Looking back on these beds do you feel they were deep enough? I’m about to take your approach. I love it!

Great job… very inspiring! You take the extra time and effort to show just easy a step is or how beneficial a feature is by actually demonstrating the whole process.
You welcome all of us in and converse with us like we’re family!
btw…THIS year (2021) that same piece of wood is well over $30 ea!

I was amazed at how simple you made it look with the lumber and block but then the idea of using the cart to wheel in the soil was a bonus. How to garden smart! Thank you!

  33. Truc Phan on August 2, 2021 at 9:38 pm

I have a question. What kind of wood do not cause the termite later ?.

  34. Prince Froggie on August 2, 2021 at 9:39 pm

At this price for wood, it is not worth doing this now. Try to find alternative.

For example, Costco sale 2 pack of 4 x 4 bed for $75, and Amazon sell 4 x 8 x 1 ft galvanized raised bed for $75. All cheaper than the wood used in this video (at current price).

  35. Felisha Pittman on August 2, 2021 at 9:43 pm

I did this! My garden is nice! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

  37. J Mendez on August 2, 2021 at 9:44 pm

Do you make holes in the bottom fabric? And is the wood treated wood?

  38. Almira Tria on August 2, 2021 at 9:46 pm

What do you call them? Maybe I can buy it online
