  16. Brad Guthrie on September 7, 2021 at 10:32 pm

A great tip on watching for the weeds to just start emerging to be sure the ground is warm enough. May the Lord bless you both.

  22. Michelle D on September 7, 2021 at 10:40 pm

I think chipmunks get my pea and bean seeds, so I want to start them in the little jiffy pellets. Is there any reason you think this is not a good idea?

  23. rachel rodriguez on September 7, 2021 at 10:40 pm

Is growing greens the same as growing snap peas? I have been steered away because I thought it required a trellis

  24. Leslie Kendall on September 7, 2021 at 10:41 pm

My favorite mix is onions, zucchini, and Swiss chard. Yum!

  25. Argethebargee on September 7, 2021 at 10:43 pm

Awesome video! Just planted some bush beans. Thanks for the information! I’ve got those and some spinach going as well!

  26. Franki Hauser on September 7, 2021 at 10:44 pm

Since I don’t have a lot of space, can I follow what you do with most of your container soils and plant these beans? Since it’s got lots of foliage, should I put use blood and/or bone meal? It would be 1/2 of a 55 gallon plastic drum (food grade)

  27. shirley bradford on September 7, 2021 at 10:44 pm

How long did these beans last. As for eating? All year?

  28. Wayne & Carol Edwards on September 7, 2021 at 10:47 pm

Love your video! You have a fantastic garden and are taking full advantage of your space in the city. BLessings to you.

Bless us oh Lord for these thy gifts, which we are about to receive, from Thy bounty through Christ, Our Lord. Amen. And thank you two for these excellent gardening tips.

  33. Mike Dickson on September 7, 2021 at 10:55 pm

For me one of the easiest plants to grow

  34. Jose Milian on September 7, 2021 at 10:56 pm

for the beans how deep down do you have to loosen dirt. Soil here is really hard so wondering how far down I need to loosen up to allow the plants to grow well.

  35. Nick Winfree on September 7, 2021 at 10:56 pm

Just started our second garden. Trying them for the first time. Florida.

  36. Jenifer Acklin on September 7, 2021 at 10:57 pm

  37. First Lady on September 7, 2021 at 10:58 pm

WHERE DO YOU ALL PURCHASE YOUR POTATO SEEDS? HAVE YOU BOUGHT FROM DIRECT GARDENING COMPANY? CAN YOU USE ORGANIC POTATOES FOR SEED?

  38. Shon Bowers on September 7, 2021 at 11:00 pm

When do you know it’s time to harvest and have you ever heard of contender beans have you grown them if so addre they just like regular green beans or more like soup beans (kidney, pinto e.t.c) that you dry first?

  39. Bartacomus Kidd on September 7, 2021 at 11:02 pm

    What yall doing this year?

  40. Della Smith on September 7, 2021 at 11:03 pm

    That snap made my day

  41. E.J. Johnson on September 7, 2021 at 11:05 pm

My favorite part about your videos is the progression aspect. How you show planting, and 3 weeks later, and 3 weeks after that, etc etc. Nice work.

  42. william alexander on September 7, 2021 at 11:05 pm

i just subscribed. you got me with "O Snap" lolol

  43. Ambrose McLaren on September 7, 2021 at 11:06 pm

Love when people use good old common sense. Look for those lil weeds coming up and soil is warm enough you can plant. That’s what the good God gives us brains for. 🙂
