My least favorite garden activity…sod removal. And yet you made it enjoyable and fairly effortless. I love watching your videos. Your yard is amazing and I learn so much. Keep up the amazing work. Best gardening channel on YouTube!

Buy a good two or three canvas or heavy plastic tarps and toss your sod on it. Much much easier to get to the compost pile. You can move more than a wheelbarrow at a time.

Was that your in-laws property all they way to neighbor’s driveway? And FL grass does not roll like that ..

  27. Angelia Hashemi on July 22, 2021 at 9:01 pm

Can you do that with Bermuda grass? I want to put in a flower bed in my back yard & was considering renting a sod cutter. Might could do a small area myself.

  28. Claudio Simas on July 22, 2021 at 9:02 pm

Hiding an electrical junction isnt the greatest but people do it in their house all the time so oh well

  32. tab ashrafi on July 22, 2021 at 9:03 pm

Can you please tell me where you got your flat edge shovel?

  33. Kathy Morris on July 22, 2021 at 9:04 pm

Thank you for this video. I have an area next to my 3 season porch that I want to plant some ornamental grass and didn’t know how to remove the grass. Last time I did this I literally pulled the grass out by hand. Too old for that now. This will be much easier.

  43. PanamaSticks on July 22, 2021 at 9:20 pm

Wish I had a lawn with just dirt and grass.. Mine is all rocks.

  44. Michael H on July 22, 2021 at 9:20 pm

Leave it to a woman to be so verbose. 2 minutes into a 4 minute video I knew more about her in-laws than I did about removing the actual sod

  45. Atef Basha on July 22, 2021 at 9:22 pm

Thank you so much and family members and friends so much
