    Thank you so much for the helpful info. My mini greenhouse seed starter, looks much like yours, has two ventilation tabs. But i had no instructions with it. Should I err more on the side of keeping it closed up, less air/oxygen and β€˜hot” … or keep more air flowing? I’m talking more about the first couple of weeks, when they’re just getting started and just sprouting… thanks!

    I started a mango tree, two avocado trees, and two lemon trees from seeds. I got my babies inside right now and soon as Spring comes they’ll be enjoy fresh air outside.

    Hehehe… i buy from rare seeds too. Lol. My lilac peppers have had a horrible germination rate, tho. Everything else seems to be doing pretty well. I just hope I can keep them going until this stinking snow quits coming!!!

    I thought seed starting soil is different from potting mix from because it has LESS nutrients than potting mix. The seeds don’t need nutrients right at the start; they need it after they form their first true leaves.

    One time I forgot to take my water bottle out of my car during the spring season and chia seeds were starting to grow into actual little plants. The longest one was about two inches. Lol
