Huntington Is Not Great
WHy in the hell did Huntington, WV, win the Greatest City in America contest?
Was it a sham contest ran by people from Huntington or something? There’s no way it was legitimately even in the top 1000.
A year ago, this town of 40 to 50 thousand people had 26 overdoses in less than 4 hours. They’ve averaged half a dozen overdoses a day for longer than that. That’s about 2190 overdoses a year, or roughly 8%% of the population of the entire town overdosing in a year.
THAT’S the greatest town in America? Who are you kidding?
