For an "animal" whose ancestors have supposedly been around for 2000 years plus, and in all that time no one has been able to spear it, bring it down with arrows, or shoot it (or get an authentic photo). Thanks Steve for doing what you do. I started watching this just to hear you talk. Reminds me of the people I grew up with, lifetime Outfitters and Guides. Good folks. I don’t live in Wyoming anymore but grew up there in a different time and age. Pretty much all gone now but I miss them. People like us are a dying breed, a different litter of cats. Not many of us around anymore since they turned the wolves out to kill the big game. I am 68 now and by golly, it seems like there are more of these thing than there use to be. But I’ve not lived in the forest since I was 60. Sold my outfit and moved into town and it was the biggest mistake I ever made. I miss my life.

Even after all that he says he had zero fear or reservations and just wanted to kill it. I doubt that the sabe would even talk to someone like that let alone fear them! I live in Oregon and have had a few encounters in the forests. Once my husband and I stopped to go swim in a river. After a while we decided to swim across the river and go look at a pretty meadow on the other side. We swam across, and immediately found a forest boundary sign laying on the ground, as if someone yanked it out and dropped it. We kept walking and within 1 minute we heard loud knocking on a tree. We knew there were no roads over there and since we saw the pulled out boundary sign, we realized right away it was a bigfoot. We turned around and quickly got out of there. Another time we were sitting at Clearwater park at dusk, by the river, when we heard a loud, strange screech, scream from across the river. ( A fairly uninhabited part of the forest) It continued screaming as it ran up the mountain at an incredible speed. Another time we were picking Cantrell’s on Quartz Rd. near Vida. We had been out there all day, and my husband decided he would go look for another patch at the top of the ridge while I stayed there. As soon as he left I heard a very large animal about 40 feet away crunching branches as it approached me. Terrified I screamed for my husband to come back. (He had the gun) Thank God, he came running back. Then he heard it take a step and stop. It was just sitting there, and since it was starting to get dark, and we were spooked, we left. Another time my husband and his brother were camping at Elliot lake and they heard a loud gurgling roar. They didn’t sleep that night and held onto their guns. Many others around here have had similar experiences. Are they dangerous? The one that came within 40 feet of me wasn’t coming over to say Hi. Would you approach an ape? Hell no! There R several watching Steve. The reddish one frozen on log in background. I live in Ozark Mts Buffalo River area. There is a trail area they have taken for years on family 400 acres. Great grandfather planted fruit trees and corn near river. River has a lot of floaters now. IN the fortys when I was young I had several encounters and 3 when adult. I spoke to one in Cherokee and he acknowledge me and said hello and good by. I’m 91y old. My last encounter with him was 5 years ago. Over 10 feet tall. My deceased husband and myself and a professional sports saw him in 1970 on Buffalo River. My second sighting was in Ouachita mountain on creek. He is so big. I am trying get one of these young kids across mountain to find an artist to draw what I describe. 7 sighting in my life. The ones with human DNA speak and know many languages ., according to Grandmother Imo medicine woman .
I enjoy your videos. I live on 80 acres in a very rural area of Georgia. The house sits on 2 acres. The rest is wooded. My parents lived here25 years and myself for 2. Never had any problems. Always had big dogs who roamed the place with no issues. I hear cyotees and we have lots of deer. I do not ever, ever go into the woods. So far so good.
