Important Early Bow Season Evening Sit Tips

Important Early Bow Season Evening Sit Tips

An early bow season evening sit, is often were the whitetail magic of early season hunting, takes place. While I often favor morning bowhunting opportunities during any phase of the whitetail rut, evening sits are highly important during the early season, late gun season, muzzleloader season and during late archery seasons. Placing a priority on an early season evening sit can not only offer you the potential for a high degree of whitetail success, but it can keep you from spooking out your property after trying to force a morning sit, at a time when mature bucks are typically near or already lounging around, their bedding areas.

You may not be able to answer this but I am in BC, Canada, and would you say your tips are universal on all white tail, even in Canada?

I just want to say that I saw one of your videos and was hooked ,and subscribed to your channel. I listened to all you had to say about early season bowhunting on you 9/29 video, and today10/3/2020 here in Virginia on my afternoon hunt a little before sunset I bagged a beautiful 8 point buck and 5 minutes later I scored on a mature doe! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! You certainly are an expert!

I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to have you on my farm, to help me become a better hunter, I am on my second 200" deer in three years, and I just can’t make it happen

I’ve always been a morning hunter and bad habits die hard, but my cameras have been showing the mature bucks are more predictable in the evening. Could almost set your watch by his schedule. Appreciate the info Jeff.

Misleading title…this was more on the different stand options for morning/evening rather than ‘evening sit tips’ was looking for tips on when/how/where to hunt the evening time. still a great video as always, I learn so much from your videos for sure, thank you!

Is it best to wait untill you pattern a buck on a specific time period before you go and sit a set to hunt him? I already know my morning and evening stand locations, but I just haven’t found a definitive pattern on the buck movement.

Good tips iam always been a morning guy and seems my main stand could be both morning and evening but more morning so early season do more evening hunts instead of mornings regardless
