    There were 2 gold medals instead of silver? How does that happen? Was this in the rules or did they actually ask to stop the competition at a tie? Because I imagine they’d just keep jumping until one of them fails/succeeds, regardless of height — set it back to the last height they both succeeded at and wait for a fail, at worst.

    Now I’m off to Google how many other ties there have been in the olympics.
