I want like your Valo but it reminds me to much of desert storm chocolate chip camo. I’ll stick with the Verde.

That was amazing to watch! I’m absolutely blown away!

What would be the best for a September hunt in northern Az ?

  8. Doug Clarke on September 1, 2021 at 10:27 pm

It has been my experience with the Vias Camo pattern that the lighter tans in the pattern take on the greenish hues in the surrounding vegetation. I use it year round and blend in very well whether it be early or late season here in the Northeast. Because of this I feel it is a more versatile pattern than the Verde. The new Valo does intrigue me however….

What is the best for hunting in PA?

  15. Rutcation Hunter on September 1, 2021 at 10:35 pm

As a whitetail hunter the new Valo pattern will be a great option for hunting from the ground in late October/early November around the Midwest. Not sure if I would consider the Valo pattern for hunting from a tree stand though (Needs more white). I still believe Sitka’s Elevated II pattern takes the cake when it comes to this type of situation. None the less, a great option for hunters to add to their camo repertoire.

  23. Charles Smith on September 1, 2021 at 10:46 pm

what would you recommend for the Northeast? Mostly in New Hampshire. I’m stuck between the Valo and Verde? It’s a mix between dead trees and snow, but also green everywhere like red spruces and eastern hemlocks?

  24. Echo Auxgen on September 1, 2021 at 10:53 pm

I know about the deer yellow vision and have found I am invisible to deer and people wearing Marine Corps desert camo in woods with fall leaves on the ground and even snow. But you still have to wear an orange vest. Also I will wear the camo hunter orange sweat top and pants when out by myself, I have had young deer walk and eat around me as well as small does while sitting on falling trees or stumps. The reason for camo is to hide from your spouse! When out I want humans to see me a mile away but no deer. The reason woodsmen wore a checkered red and black flannel shirt. Today laundry soap has brighteners and blue jeans glow to deer where in the 60 and 70’s there was none. To tell an old timer you can wear camo hunter orange you get laughed at. Make camo people can see but deer not we are not at war with people, yet while hunting!!!

@KUIU Ultralight Hunting, Thanks for breaking it down. I’m going back and forth amongst your camo patterns for my next purchase and this helps.

  26. someone you know on September 1, 2021 at 10:55 pm

I haven’t bought any camo in quite awhile. I thought my kuiu collection was complete then you release a new pattern. Damn you Kuiu!
For the record I only use kuiu camo.

  27. Jacob Helmka on September 1, 2021 at 10:58 pm

As a Hunter in VA, I like the Verde 2.0. It matches well in the long green foliage seasons. If I still lived in MI, I’d definitely be picking up the Valo.

  28. Lone Star Patriot on September 1, 2021 at 10:59 pm

Best camo in the hunting game by far IMHO. The patterns are part of what drew me to KUIU and the new pattern just continues the greatness.

  29. Bullen Strength Systems on September 1, 2021 at 11:00 pm

Can you recommend camo for below environments, and if you had to choose one camo to cover all three which would it be?
    East Texas bowhunting from treestand
Early-mid season western bowhunting (Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Montana)
    Central/West Texas Exotics year-round
    Thanks!
