Hey Mike, I love your simplicity. Anyway, you can probably spare some time weeding if you simply mulch with leaves, grass clippings, woody branches, etc.. Kind regards

What are your rules, opinions, and what you do when winter comes with all the plants you’ve planted that will die

it depends on the plant. some plants are not so diverse that you cant tell by looking at it. at least in my neck of the woods

I looked into it in Texas and there is a Nursey License needed to sell plants. It is a $75.00 a year for the license and you have to have address of the nursey registered with them so they can inspect to make sure you are not transmitting diseased plants or plants infested with certain types of bugs. My question is if your selling by mail over state lines is their a federal license needed?

@xiongbaby87 yes you do need a license if you plan to sell your plants. Your nursery will need an inspection, but it isnt difficult and it doesnt cost much. Look for your states department of agriculture’s website and look online for a nurserymens application or give them a call and find out what to do. best of luck!

i’m sorry but that’s BS ! If even the experts can’t identify varieties how do you know the variety you’re buying really aree the variety it says on the tag ? Plus, people who buy plants don’t care about the botanical name of the plants.

Hey mike i was wandering if it was illegal to sell plant cuttings from a plant i grew from seed?

How do you handle patent issues on certain cultivars? Do you simply stay away from those varieties? This is a more complicated problem than it first appears.
